    help updating dashboard

    ok guys heres my situation,
    i have a benq spoofed as a lite-on because my original lite-on died. Ive read that the latest dash downgrade you drive fw and that its recomended you flash it to the ofw. Since i dont have the original drive what should i do in order to safely upgrade the dash and not mess my drive. Also i didnt save my ofw but i have the key, would a benq ofw from the net work? Thanks

    First, the dashboard update you're talking about really doesn't downgrade your firmware, it just reflashed all drives to different firmwares based on what drive you have.

    Since your actual drive is a benq, flash your drive with stock benq firmware, then update your 360 and reflash again.

    But before you attempt this, is the key from your original lite on or your current benq?
    If I flash my Xbox 360, does that mean it can run Adobe Flash Player?

    manually spoof the key and select the correct drive brand in the manual spoofing process so that you are not spoofing the type of drive and therefore have significantly less change of getting flagged. the best thing to do is buy the same brand of the original drive and flash to that.
    Always save your DVD Key first!! That is the Holy Fucking Grail of your XBox 360!!

    AP26 has been defeated, AP25 has not...if you do not patch your games correctly, you WILL be flagged!!

    yes, the original liteon key is in my current benq. I have both the original liteon and benq keys saved in case i need them
