Since I'm new here and don't know how to make a topic,if I'm even allowed to. I'll start of with a question about the upcomming LT+ that is supposed to deal with the AP25 issue.

I was wondering if Lite Touch+ is, lets say an update to the older version(like IX1.5-1.51) or a whole new FW altogether? Reason I'm asking is wether or not I should solder my LiteOn93+ again to be able to flash?
So my question is is wether or not I have to resolder it everytime a new update comes or not?

P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

I believe if you kept the old firmware with your key in it you can use that as a dummy for the new firmware and flash it. Or use a LT Switch for the next time/xbox you are going to solder. I do this for a 73850C and had not any problems soo far..

hi i've been trying to update my lite-on drive, but i forgot which version of ixtreme i have currently. I think its 1.61, but not sure. all i know is that i can play modern warfare 2. anyways ive been trying to update to the latest version, but each time i try to dummy from iXtreme, it says that my lite on drive isnt on with its tray half open, when it is. can anyone help? or is there any other way to install the latest version?

I am a semi-noobie on using JungleFlasher. However, I did managed to flash firware successfuly on my box.
I have a small suggestion for improvement on the JF User Guide v1.3.8.

If you follow the links on "Other Info – for troubleshooting, or the inquisitive mind" and click the "Return a LiteOn to Stock", you are explained how you need your Dummy.bin and a Stock FW for your relevant drive. Simply load your Dummy as Source, Decline the Auto load of iXtreme firmware, Load the stock firmware as target!
Then press Spoof Source to Target button. After that you follow the link: PROCEED TO ERASE & WRITE, where on Page 102 is a screen capture of MTKFlash32 tab with Driver Properties showing DVDKey: Verified !
There is no step in the "Return a LiteOn to Stock" procedure so far where is describes how to get the Key verified, at least not if you follow the path (links) like I did. I don't want to sound like I am picky, I just want to help.
