    does that mean that something went wrong. I was looking for the stock firmware but juggleFlasher says my key is located at. 0xC030
    I'm not sure which stock firm to flash.

    Also is it possible that my KEY might also be wrong

    Edit2:
    Can I swap DVD drives. So for example if my xbox came with a Lite-On can I buy a BenQ etc, and use that instead? Will that cause any issues?

    I have a BenQ VAD6038 64930C but my DVD Key is @ E040. I got this information from my ixtreme v1.41 firmware using JungleFlasher. The DVD Key is also located @ E040 on my ixtreme v1.50, v1.51, and v1.60. I thought the file I had saved was the original firmware but unfortunately it was the ixtreme v1.41 firmware instead.

    I am wondering if it would be safe to use one of the stock firmwares where the DVD Key is @ E030?

    I've search and found a site that confirmed that I could do so, but I wanted a more updated confirmation from someone on ixtreme.net.

    I have checked my ixtreme v1.41 firmware using a hex editor, went to offset 12D7, and it displayed E5. So I will be using the org-64930c_e030_1.bin file.

    So can someone confirm that it is safe to flash using the original firmware with DVD Key @ E030 when my firmware's DVD Key is @ E040?

    I am not banned from Xbox Live and I plan to go online.

    Yes, that's fine. Just inject your key into stock firmware with JungleFlasher.

    UPDATE: Nevermind, I just figured out that I had to use my stock patched dummy file to spoof the data onto the original stock firmware, that I downloaded from here. Jungle Flasher wouldn't allow me to use my dummy.bin file as a target firmware for flashing.

    I have another question regarding a LiteOn 74850c. I want to reflash this drive to stock firmware also.

    I have the original extracted dummy.bin file that I've patched to include the drive serial info block. It's been patched using a program such as "Drive Serial Dummy.Bin Fixer", basically inserting the information on the LiteOn drive label into the program and the program adding those values into the dummy.bin file.

    My concern is, would it be safer to use my patched dummy.bin file to reflash the drive to stock, or would it be better to use the original stock firmwares available online?

    I don't understand why the stock firmwares online do not require the drive serial information. I thought the serial info block was unique to each drive just like the DVD Keys.

    Hi all, I'd like to flash back to stock to apply the Kinect update before putting LT+ on. I have a Liteon 83850c but I can't remember if it was version 1 or 2 How do I find that out? Will one work and the other just not at all? I was tempted to just flash to LT+ and then apply the update.
