I ask myself why it is absolutely neccessary to have a iHAS X24 B version of this drive? Is this because a special feature of the hardware or because you "only" modified this special firmware?
The iHAS X24 A series consist of a Mediatek MT1879E, which would be also capable of doing these kind of burns... IMO.
Was your firmware modification a complete recompiling or a binary patching/hacking of that firmware?

Been a Quiet Modder for years,
I just wanted to say I really Enjoy this and Its nice to see people
SCREWING MS UP THE ARSE LONG DRY AND HARD... Makes me All
Giddy inside... Love what you guys do for the xbox 360 and show
how this console is so damn exploitable its not funny.. Even with
their Latest and Greatest Engineers "Ho or Lionel" you guys keep
sticking it to them and I LOVE IT... Thank you for putting a smile on
my face... It is Very Much Appreciated... Ihas burnermax firmware
worked perfectly on my 124... No problems... Excellent....

No one here created the Burner Max firmware, so we can't give you definitive answers to your question. Best go check out the man himself, c4eva at www.c4evaspeaks.com as he's the one who's written all the firmware for the 360's.

My iHas324B drive went bad. So i bought a new one but it says its a 324C do i still flash it with the
iHAS-324B-AL1B-MKM001MKM003-final.bin firmware?

indeed you are. the c chipset cannot be flashed. BUT if for example the laser is gone on your B drive you can however, swap the pcbs over from b to c so you have the correct chipset with the new mechanics (laser/motor etc) of the c drive you just bought.
