Hello i have a samsung DVD drive on my xbox 360 but i wanna change it to a lite on DG-16D2S DVD Drive. What will i have to do to make the lite on work on my xbox 360.

You will need the dvd key from your Samsung drive.

Can u link me to a guide or instructions on obtaining the drive key of a samsung and putting it on a lite on.

ok so im guessing all i have to do is copy my dvd key info from the samsung drive to the lite on and thats it.Right

reason i want to change a lite on is i want LT 1.7

Only problem is in JungleFlasher tutorial, it says you cannot spoof a LiteOn with LT firmware as any other drive, but one memeber on here claims to have done this with no issues, so if you succeed you will have to let us know

Well thanks for the help i bought a lite on ebay ill post back when i get it and attempt the LT upgrade.

Well i got my key off the samsung drive but i dont know how to spoof to the lite on drive do i need CK3 prove

It depends on the model of the lite-on drive you bought. You would have been better off buying a BenQ and getting the LT firmware for that.

I have found that having the CK3 makes all drive flashing easier. Allows you to pull the drive out and connect to the computer without trying to move the xbox close to your machine. Plus you can get the probe which is needed for some drives.
