Trouble connecting Xbox to PC

Postby jws305 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 10:37 am

I have a Xbox with a stock Samsung TS-H943 drive and I have been having a lot of trouble getting my computer to recognize it. I first hooked the Xbox up to my PC which has the Intel ICH9 chipset and Windows 7 x64. I have already disabled driver signing. First I tried booting the PC without turning the Xbox on, once my PC was done booting I turned on my Xbox and attempted to find it using both JungleFlash and DosFlash64 but had no luck. Next I attempted to boot my PC with the Xbox turned on however it froze at POST.

Next I attached the Xbox to my moms computer which is also Windows 7 x64 (forgetting which chipset atm) and booted her computer with the Xbox turned on. The Xbox drive was recognized in bios. When I tried to load JungleFlasher the computer froze up on me. When I used DosFlash64 it found the drive but gave me an error saying something about vendor mode intro could not be transmitted and I am unable to dump the firmware because it says there is no flash chip available to dump.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
