Dear Kindness friends,

First of all, befor I flash my XBOX 360 from 1.50 to 1.60 I would like to ask few question cuz I am really new on its:
1. What tool do i need? Connection Kit? What name that you suggest? Link the web plz!!!(My PC have SATA on board
*** If I dot have Connection kit can I use normal SATA cable cord?
2. I really confuse: Do I use "iXtreme 1.51 Samsung MS28 Flashing Stock Drive Tutorial" or JungleFlasher 1.6 guide? Advice plz!!! can you give me the link for the correct one? 1.50 to 1.6 that i need.
3. If I flash fail do my XBOX will not work? Can be repair or not? I would appreciate for fail case solve link website.

More suggestion are fully welcome.

You'll need a 10 torx screw driver.

You don't need a ck3 connectivity kit for flashing the samsung.

You can use either guide. The jungle Flasher guide is a little more detailed. I recommend reading through it before setting off on flashing your samsung.

You shouldn't have any issues in flashing your samsung, as long as your pc is somewhat new. Older SATA chipsets sometimes have issues with being found, in jungleflasher.

Intel Destop Board D86GL C/D865PESO
INTEL(R) 82801EB Ultra ATA Storage controlers-24D1
PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_24D1
Device Detail: IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
***All above information I got from my PC. It's the old one? Can you or anyone know it's compatible to mod the sumsunge?

2. If I update from from my current iXtreme 1.50 to 1.6 will not need to flash my DVD drive back to OFW?
Cuz, you suggestion is ask me to use jungleflasher. So I really can use jungleflasher guide is enough to upgrade?

Most likely, it will work. I'd just try, if it doesnt, you then can always purchase the VIA-642 card.

Yeah, so if you want to upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6, you don't need to flash it back to stock.

All you do, use the activate.iso to unlock the drive, dump the key, then spoof it with ixtreme 1.6.

i have an intel in my xps 400 and it didnt pick up the drive so i had to buy the VT 6421 chip and that works. so thats what you might have to do, its like $12 on ebay.

question for james,I dont see activate.iso anywhere in this tutorial,and you said you could use this tutorial to upgrade from 1.51 to 1.6, im just double checking with you before i upgrade, the last thing i want to do is mess up my drive lol.

In jungleFlasher, on the MTK Flash 32 tab, top right, theirs a link (activate.iso), click it, and it'll download.

so there is more steps needed besides whats in this tutorial?

and do i need to use a DL disc or can it be a regular DVD.
