rumors, rumors, rumors. i dont think its coming out. just a joke it seems to me. guess well see in a few more months or years!

I guess so. What I really want to know is, how MS is detecting the firmware and what the rules are to get the console online. I have a silver membership and just want to load updates over XBL, so I don't know if this is safe at the moment. The last time that there was a ban wave I wasn't affected by that.

You know M$ probably has people that are involved in modding of consoles just to keep up with all the firmwares.... that how they keep one step ahead of hacking....

I played online yesterday madden 10 ixtreme 1.61 benq no ban.You should be safe for updates, your call though.I do believe LT is legit their just taking their time to getit right..

why are we still talking about this?

I'm really curious about the fact, that not everybody gets imidietly baned when he's online with a ixtreme firmware. When it's detectable, then everbody should be banned. So, I guess it's maybe related to something else, the stealth checking seems not complete likely nor a certain game. So, it's interesting to know how to avoid to get banned. There must be rules, because it's programming, there is algorithm and variables that are checked.

I am holding offline with 1.61 one until further notice. I hope the team put together something special for all of us =)
