Thought I'd share this article with everyone. It sounds like it doesn't matter what iX F/W you have, you will still get banned.

i have a question:

my 360 got banned (had 1.6 liteon) and i rigorously checked all isos with abg (fully aware that nothing guarantees banning).

let's say i get a new console (which i plan on) and keep said banned one. would i be able to play dl'd games on my banned console while also playing bought games on the new system, using the same gamertag? is there a risk?

Does anyone know if Microsoft has stopped banning people yet?
I have a lite-on flashed with ixtreme 1.6, never played a game early, triple checked my games with abgx360 and made sure everything was verified and it gave me the "ok", never played a game before release, and never played a wave 4 game. When I heard about the bannings I stopped playing my 360 to prevent myself from getting banned, not even playing offline. It's been off for about 2 weeks now and was wondering if it's ok to start playing it online again?

Hi, i bought my xbox may 20th, it's a liteon so i hear.

Is there any reason an activation disc wouldn't work with mine? I took it to the store and they tried their activation disk and it wouldn't work either.

Even watched that youtube video on the guy 'activating' tekken 6...

so what am i missing?

the store ppl took the xbox to their 'technician' to 'update' it.

still waiting, since 1.61 isn't out yet i don't expect it back soon...

but still, why wouldn't both activation discs work? other ppl have complained the same thing, but no replies??

What drive and firmware do you have? Sounds like you have a non hitachi drive with 1.51 or below firmware on it.

I would also like to know if the ban wave is over. I know they just dropped 600 000 people, but I would really like to get back on Live.

i have a liteon drive and im not sure whats the exact model or the firmware, i can play tekken 6 without using the activate disk but GTA and modern warfare 2 don't work even when i try to use the activate disk.
just wondering why!!
