I flashed an 8 series Lite-On, then put in mw2 for 5 seconds. Banned within a week.

I flashed a 7 series Lite-On. Never anything "unsafe". Still unbanned, going strong.

ok im gonna give the moderators a hand here because you just dont seem to be able to read english or even comprehend the language, i can read line by line each firmware update, MICROSOFT CANNOT ACCESS THE DRIVE TO READ THE FIRMWARE, it has nothing to do with the firmware, they cannot read that you have inserted the activate.iso unless you have actually ran the disk by pressing play dvd, the only way you have been banned is a bad rip which you have played or a wave 4 game, its just that simple, i buy, sell and repair xbox 360's all day long and as such know what i am talking about, you have been banned and that is that, it is part of the seasonal banning (AKA THE BAN HAMMER) this comes once or twice a year just before christmas and once before the january sales this is to boost profit and sell more console's, i have an offline console for testing only otherwise i buy all of my games which these people that design these fine consoles and fine games deserve, if i have missed anything moderators please feel free to add but i wanted everyone to know:-

1)ixtreme state you flash at your own risk
2)ixtreme 1.5, 1.51, 1.6 or 1.61 is not responsible for your ban a bad rip is

Still going strong with fw 1.6 As are a lot of other people I know. Stay away from those Wave 4 games people.

Nobodey knows howcome my samsung ms28 spoofed as a lite on works with ixtreme 1.51 but not with 1,6 or 1.61??

Liteon running v1.6 never played a game that hasn't been ran through ABGX. Drive was flashed using a CK3, and never played a wave 4. Just got banned.

Getting the firmware off the site has nothing to do with getting banned, I get all the firmware from Xbins. most likely the backups you were using, or the way you flashed your drive, like using the console to power the drive.

I know it has nothing to do with it. Just wanted to put it out there that i got banned

OK, I just read something I did not know about. Apparently error messages are logged in the 360's NAND. As in, if the SATA cable gets unplugged, this gets recorded! Not knowing this, I used the 360 to power the drive when I flashed mine. It may already be too late but I'm ordering a power kit before I flash again.

I have 2 XBOX 360s one has 1.61 and plays flawlessly the other has 1.61 newly flashed. I put an original copy of MW2 in the second one and got banned. Has anyone experience this? Can I contest it if it's a original copy and was played on multiplayer? That how I got banned loaded up started 2 look for games and my live just cut off.
