Ok I posted this elsewhere and digressed slightly so i'm copying it to here which is more apt. I will still do a video tutorial.

There is no need to probe r707 use the latest jungleflasher tutorial and probe mpx01 using the phatkey and PMT method

This is for probe v3. For probe v2/v2.1 you need to follow the video above to make a switch on 3.3v cable first then follow below.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PEOPLE PROBING USING MODIFIED PROBE V2/2.1. MAKE SURE THAT ON THE PROBE THE MRA SWITCH IS SET TO MRA AND THAT THE SWITCH WITH THE SPRING (ON THE TOP) (OP_SW) IS PUSHED TO THE IN POSITION. THEN ONLY USE THE GREEN PROBE FOR PROBING!!!!

Ok heres how,

Power up get tray into half closed mode.

Get drive up in JF
Click PhatKey
Jungleflasher will tell you to turn off the drive DON'T
Click yes to the message
Then make sure the 3.3v inline switch on probe cable is turned OFF
Probe MPX01 shown below


With the probe on mpx01 turn the switch on the cable back on AND, as soon as JF gives a message about finding key at 0x52 remove the probe from mpx01.
You should then get a message saying extraction complete if all has gone well (Dont click yes yet)
Power of the drive for 5 secs and then back on. Now press OK/YES
It should prompt you to save your key and dummy files and then will load into the source firmware. Carry on as normal

Load LT1.9 into target firmware and click spoof source to target. Make sure your source key and target key match

Goto to MTK flash and click erase liteon click yes to prompts
When JF says Drive returned status 0xD0 turn drive power off and on.
Should then return a status 0x72 (vendor mode)
Click WRITE. JF will write and then verify,
When this has finished click send OUTRO/ATA Reset

BOOM your done!!!

Hey just wondering would you recommend doing this or could I use an Lt clip with an Lt switch to the same effect? I have everything you need except the 3.3v switch but would using the Lt clip work out easier? Thanks for any info

Nice Video, if your just using the original dvd power connecter. Would you be putting the switch inline on #6 (refer to photo)?

Also what does the rating need to be for the switch ie how many Volts (AC) and Amps

Yeah it would be 6 but then you'll have to splice a probe into your original cable.

Rating doesn't really matter with the switch I think the one I got is 2amps but its not gonna make a difference

Thanks ive only got a USB Xtractor probe, does this mean i wont be able to get the key unless i buy a ck probe?

Also why has it changed from previously using the R707 hole?

R707 was only good for extracting on virgin drives once the firmware had been dumped it couldn't be retrieved from r707 again, MPX01 can retreive the key every time

I'm not sure about USB probe. I only know CK probe
