Thread: Help plz : Truncate Backups !

technically the LT firmware works with the truncate method, but truncating is highly discouraged.
the last 3% of the data holds the civ checks which are missing with truncated backups. this could mean that you are thrown out of the game when the check fails.
if you have a hitachi drive, truncating backups won't work because it is not supported in the firmware.

MKM001 or MKM003 Verbatim DVDs

AND DO IT PROPERLY

better grab one fast b4 the price starts to get to high on them also

i want to make xgd3 backups
could you tell me which games would be burned & then work normally with the truncate method for burning

i have regular samsung dvd burner + giga max 8.5 gb disk that supports 2.4x speed

why oh why do people not read up on a subject before doing it and do it right first time instead of on the cheap and failing then comes the *rap like your ck3 doesn't work,my usbpro is *rap,the firmware is sh1t.
