To retrieve your cpu key yes, no working freeboot yet though.
At any rate I've only tried glitching one corona and it didn't end well, couldn't get xell to boot so I think .CR3 will be necessary at the least for stable boots.

Well, that all depends on how you definie "works". They said outright that glitching for corona is unpredictable, hence the need for CR3pro. So yes, it works, but to quote TX themselves:
So yes, it works, but whether you will get a console that boots within 30 seconds or takes 5 mins to boot is another question. I tried to RGH a corona with a Rev C and Crystal only, no CPU_RST cleaner, and got no boot from any of the 6 timing files with multiple length CPU_RST, double shielded low loss cable. I may have gotten better results using a series of resistors/caps in paralell with the CPU_RST but to be honest I don't have the hours to sit down and try every possible configuration just to glitch 1 console when I can get a trinity done in 30 mins start to finish. On a side note....
These are the crappy glitch times you should expect (measured with the CoolRunner 3 RATER)
These are cycles - not seconds (1 cycle = 5 seconds). In our opinion it just isn't worth
paying for - so we encourage you not to buy a CoolRunner REV C or any other XC642A based
glitcher just to do Corona - you will probably be dissapointed.

My point is @megamind, the CR3 lite is your best possible chance at glitching a corona until CR3 pro comes along, my concern would be that a corona could require a lot of fine tuning, and hence resoldering, so if you are new to RGH you could risk messing up some points if you are not a confident solderer, so if you do go ahead set a few days aside to get it right and Do Not rush anything, it's very easy to become frustrated with it and damage something meaning even more work will be required to repair it.
At the very least, it's worth buying a CR3 lite and trying it out on corona, you never know, you might have a console that responds well and you get booting in 1-3 glitches (I've heard quite a few people have achieved this), but every console is different and you won't know until you try. If it doesn't work out just sell the CR3 lite and hang tight until the Pro comes along.

Corona do have issues with xell now booting. Did you try going through serial or com port

No, since it was still flashing every 5 seconds, indicated the glitch hadn't been executed.
