Yes, just dump your key, then spoof it to ixtreme 1.6. If you already have your key saved, no need to dump it, just spoof then write it

1. My XBOX was update to iXtrem 1.50 from the store, I dot have and never experience to upgrade as well as no dump key and spoof. How to dumb key and how to spoof key?

2. can i updaye without Dubm Key and Spoof key? Can i gey key and spoof ready from any source on web?

I got stocked when I tried to update firmware from 1.5 to 1.6 After I pressed the “Dummy from iXtreme” button, and save as prompted but forgot to place the liteon firmwares in the firmware folder first so when the prompt asked if I want to auto-load the firmware (on page 13) I click ok but there is nothing in that folder. (not sure if I need to start over again at this stage?) so I went back and re-extract the drive key again but it keep freeze in the middle of saving files. Please advise what to do next and thanks in advance for your help.

Did you save the first dump to your hard drive? Does the key look good?

If so, then just create the spoofed firmware manually.

Open JF, on the main tab, load the dummy.bin file in the source, then on the bottom, load the liteon ixtreme 1.6 firmware.

Click the button, Spoof Source to Target, also, make sure the keys match!!!!

Then, click the "Save to File" button.

Proceed to erase, then write you firmware. Also, make sure you liteon is in Vendor mode, using the Intro/Device ID on the MTK Flash 32 tab.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did saved the first set of key. I will try spoofed firmware manually tonight and hope it will works.

So I used the first set of key to resume JF firmware update and everything seemed to work until the erase processed. During the sequence of dots running and I did not power off/on once and let it run the whole process instead. It says device intro fail so I closed the DVD tray and reboot the xbox but JF can no long detect the drive. It's similar to JMack420's problem (can't detect drive after bad flash), does this means I need to use dosflash32 to rewrite the orig.bin back to the drive? What is the origin.bin? Is it one of the file from first dump like identify.bin or inquiry.bin? I hope the drive is not dead yet

Don't panic ,your drive shouldn't be dead.
I've used dosflash16(v1.7) to fix a similar liteon.

1st I used JF to make my FW,dummy.bin as source,Liteon 1.6 as target.
Spoof to target,save as file(rename to YOURNAME.bin).
Reload dummy.bin(source) YOURNAME.bin(target) into JF.Now check the keys match & YOURNAME.bin says Liteon ixtreme1.6 X12 etc.

2nd thing to do is make a bootable usb.
Make a folder on usb named DOS.
Into the dos folder add:
Dosflash16.exe
Dosflash16.typ
firmtool(1.6).exe
L-O-Eras
Yourname.bin

When you've done this repost.
