Thread: Issues upgrading to Lite-On 1.61 from 1.6 - 74850C

1) not sure if this is a major issue or not but when i open JF i get the message "No comports were found during enumeration"

I've made sure PortIO 32 is install correctly, I've disabled the VIA card and removed the drivers then gone back and enabled it.

I have also tried starting all over again and put the drive in half open mode.

2)From here i hit the DVDKey 32 tab choose "dummy.bin only" make sure the port is correct and it picks up the drive, hit "Dummy from IXtreme" and save the file.

When JF prompts me and asks if i want to auto load the FW i hit yes (the fw is in the firmware folder of JF) i then get the error "cant open file C users .......\ix16-liteon.bin"

From the FirmwareTool 32 tab the Source data all look good so i open the target firmware and choose the 1.61 but the drive key shows as "55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA"
