    I have my drive running the latest firmware.. Can't figure out why it's not letting me burn slower than 4.0x

    Means your drive can't burn any slower than 4.0x

    Does it generally mean I won't be able to create burned 360 games with this drive then? Because I just tried: had to put it in the drive twice before it worked, but I got the game going...

    4x should be ok provided you are using good media...such as Verbatims from Singapore!
