Help! ImgBurn Freezes at "Writing LEadIn"

    Hey all,
I am new to this forum and desperate for help.
I bought a new Ihas 424 B burner as that is apparently the one that is recommended for the XDBG3 game backups. I use Verb discs and have burned several games in the past without this error.

ImgBurn locks up at the Writing LeadIn stage and I cannot do anything except reboot my compute.
I cannot post a log write now as I am at work but I have seen this problem all over the web with no resolve.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

You mention nothing about flashing your iHAS with Burner Max... have you done that yet? If you have, I would suggest you reflash and try to burn again.
ALWAYS FLASH TO STOCK BEFORE ACCEPTING DASHBOARD UPDATES!!

I will not give you "workaround" solutions. Do it right, or don't do it at all!

Before asking questions... please take time to check out the following:
    iXtreme Search Page or Google

What is kprobe you ask? Download it here

You may if some of them were xgd2, but I would toss all of the Xgd3's that you have done previously w/o Flashing Bmax fw.

don`t rule out the possiblity of the drive being broken
my own ihas broke last week, failing to start and then failing at 50%
had to replaced it for a new one

I sure hope it isnt broken, just bought it. But hey, stranger things have happened.
I am just really hoping flashing it will work.

Thanks again for the quick responses all, will let you know.

I used the link provided in a previous thread to find Burner Max download and this is the error I am getting when I attempt to flash my iHAS424 B.
The firmware does not appear to support my iHAS424 B GL1B

    Any hints?

Bypass the "upgrade" step and just follow the instructions after that? I'm not certain, but that makes sense to me.
